Dakao

OUR STORY

ROOTED IN VIETNAM. MADE FOR GATHERING

At DAKAO, Vietnamese flavours are at the heart of everything we do, reimagined with a contemporary Asian perspective.

Familiar flavours take on unexpected expressions through ingredients, techniques and inspirations from across Asia. Every detail is considered — from house-made components and carefully layered flavours to the ceramics on the table and the warmth of every welcome.

At the heart of DAKAO is a simple belief: good food brings people together. Our food is made for sharing, for conversations that linger, and for the simple pleasure of gathering around the table.
From morning coffee and leisurely lunches to dinner and drinks after dark, DAKAO evolves naturally with the rhythm of the day — familiar enough to return to, distinctive enough to remember.

MORNING

A FAMILIAR START. THE DAKAO WAY

Mornings at DAKAO begin with familiar Vietnamese favourites, thoughtfully elevated through quality ingredients and careful craftsmanship.

From 24-hour slow-cooked Phở and Bánh Mì Chảo with house-made pâté to charcoal-grilled Cơm Tấm, each dish brings a contemporary expression to flavours we know and love.

MIDDAY

FAMILIAR FLAVOURS. A LITTLE UNEXPECTED

As the day unfolds, the menu becomes more playful and expressive. Vietnamese flavours meet contemporary Asian influences in dishes such as Bánh Đập with house-made pâté, foie gras fried
rice and wok-tossed crab glass noodles with XO saté — familiar at heart, yet unexpected in
expression.

EVERNING

MADE FOR SHARING

As evening sets in, DAKAO takes on a more social rhythm. The table comes alive with dishes designed to share, where Vietnamese flavours move naturally alongside inspirations from across Asia — from Bò Pía Taco and Bún Bò Tartare to charcoal prawns with Tom Yum and five-spice short rib. It is a time for shared plates, drinks and conversations that linger.
